Together, we raised $30,000 for the Wakefield Hospital, contributing toward a Butterfly portable ultrasound device. This innovative tool allows healthcare professionals to perform real-time imaging at the patient’s bedside.

Providing crucial equipment to our communities
When you give to the Foundation, you make an impact in the lives of so many patients and people in your community. Your donations directly fund essential medical technology and facility upgrades, improving safety, comfort, and healthcare outcomes across the Des Collines region.
$23,000 for a Monnal Ventilator empowering Wakefield Hospital staff to stabilize patients in need of assisted ventilation.
$23,508 for twelve self-lifting chairs at the CHSLD, allowing patients with reduced mobility to safely and independently adjust their positions.
$15,000 for a specialized bariatric bed at the CHSLD des Collines to provide inclusive comfort, safety, and support for patients with higher weight needs.
$13,000 for a specialized Chair-wincher that improves patient safety during emergencies and reduces physical strain on healthcare staff.
Enhancing patient care across Wakefield Memorial Hospital, two long-term care facilities, and four community health centres.
Funding specialized equipment and projects for residents in Masham and the Wakefield Hospital long-term care wing.
Dedicated community members giving their time to support our fundraising events and operate the hospital's Boutique Santé.
Funds successfully raised at our recent Masquerade event to provide a real-time portable Butterfly ultrasound device.
